Sanjay Shah Does Charity For Autism Awareness

In order to create awareness about the effects of autism, Sanjay Shah created an organization known as Autism Rocks. It exists to raise money by throwing concerts and to educate people. Autism is a problem close to Sanjay’s heart because his son was diagnosed with it at the age of 4. Autism is thought by many to be a developmental disorder that can negatively affect how sufferers interact with the world.

Sanjay Shah Denmark was having a cup of tea with Snoop Dogg one day when the idea occurred to him to raise money for autism awareness by holding concerts. In 2014, Sanjay organized the very first official Autism Rocks. The headline performer was Prince and it was a very prestigious event only attended by special invitees. Sanjay decided to expand the scope of Autism Rocks since that time and he has invited Drake, Lenny Kravitz, Flo Rida, Tyga, and other well known artists to perform. Sanjay has made many other efforts to help those with autism. He gave an interview to Global Citizen Magazine in which he said that he sponsored autistic children in India.

Sanjay is a trustee of the Autism Research Trust. It makes donations to Cambridge and other Universities on the cutting edge of autism research. Sanjay puts his money where his mouth is and has donated considerably from his own pocket.

Some may better know Sanjay as the founder of Solo Capital Group. It is one of the world’s leading Investment groups and through it Sanjay has accumulated $280 million in wealth. he owns more than 3 dozen companies that are distributed across the world. He has a presence in Dubai, London, Malta, Luxembourg, and The Cayman Islands. Sanjay now considers himself to be retired and he gives most of his time to the philanthropic causes that he feels are most important. He is also a loving husband and devoted father to several children including his son Nikhil who suffers from autism. Sanjay intends to continue running Autism Rocks concerts in the future and wants to expand to more cities around the world. He will use performing artists that have significant clout with young people because they are the ones who need to be aware of autism the most.
