Newark CEDC was founded in 2007, with the primary aim of increasing the pace of economic and social development for the state of New Jersey’s largest city, Newark. The corporation was earlier known as Brick City Development Corporation (BCDC) before it restructured in 2014. Newark CEDC is optimistic about Newark’s future and the appealing environment and economic opportunities. It has deployed experts in project and coordination management to every ward to ensure that the economic and community developments are of the desired rate of returns to the natives of Newark.
