When the twenty-fifth edition of the Sertões Rally began it was a highly anticipated competition this was due to the fact that one of the country’s favorite team was in contention for the championship. The Bull Sertões Rally Team was part of this edition and this meant that the competition especially the T1 Prototype category would be at its peak.

The Bull Sertões Rally Team had just come from upgrading there T-Rex based on the issues they had faced in the previous edition of the competition. MEM developers had listened to all the issues that the team had raised and had rectified them. The car now had an improved all-terrain handling capability, better braking, a new suspension especially with the expected special terrain that would feature quite a long part of this circuit. The T-rex had also upgraded it roll handling abilities which was brought on to ensure that the safety of both driver and navigator were well-taken care off if the worst was to ever happen.

Michel Terpin was taking the lead of this one the forty-year-old was to be the driver for the Bull Sertões Rally Team. He had brought onboard thirty-seven-year-old Maykel Justo who was to be his navigator. Maykel Justo is an experienced and very capable navigator who over time had a proven track record. The excitement among the teams hardcore fans was therefore not a stretch of the imagination when they promised them a win.

The competition began in earnest and in the first stage they came in first. This would be followed by an equally excellent performance in the second stage. Then circuit was proving to be their’s for the taking but this would soon change when the T-Rex developed gear related complications in the third stage. The Bull Sertões Rally Team had no option but to lower there pace to match that of the car’s capability at the time. The stage would see them come in position five which meant that the had lost quite a lot of their initial lead and this would result in there overall fourth position.
